Lauren Hackworth Jordan McDonald
President Treasurer

As soon as Lauren Hackworth walked through Michell’s door in May 2011 for a teaching position interview, she knew she had found her school home. Lauren is originally from St. Louis but moved to Florida when she was three years old. She is a former Mitchell teacher of 9 years and currently is a stay-at-home mom of three sons- Mark Stephen (5th grade), Rhett (PreK4 at Branch Academy), and Thatcher (PreK3 at Branch Academy). Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the pool or beach, watching her kids play sports, and cheering for Tampa's professional sports teams. She is also a fan of the Florida Gators, and the West Virginia University Mountaineers because of her husband Jon.

Jordan is dad to Reid (4th grade) and future Mitchel Bobcat Alice (age 3). He is a 7th generation Floridian, graduate of the University of Florida, and works in the tech sector. Jordan loves traveling with his wife, Skyler, and family, making coffee and cocktails, reading, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
