FAQs

  • When does registration open? Registration begins on Wednesday, August 5th at 9:00 am. There will be a link published at this very site to register, and all clubs are filled on a first come, first served basis.
  • How long does each club last? This Fall 2026, after-school clubs will be offered on Mondays only. Clubs begin immediately after dismissal at 2:00 PM and run for one hour, ending at 3:00 PM.
  • How many weeks does the afterschool enrichment program last? The Fall 2026 session runs for 8 Mondays from September 14 through November 9, 2026. Please note that there will be no club meeting on Monday, October 12, due to the school holiday.
  • What if there are two clubs my child wants to join? Your child may only participate in one after-school club during the Fall 2026 session. Please choose the club they are most interested in when registering.
  • How does pickup work? Specific instructions about pickup will be communicated with you after enrollment. However, expect to utilize the car line or park and walk-up to the side gate. If your child goes to Branch Academy or YMCA for daycare, separate instructions will be discussed. It is imperative that your child has reliable transportation each week, as we will not have staff on site to wait for late pickups.
  • What if I want to switch the ASE program I purchased?

    No club changes or refunds will be permitted beginning one week before clubs start. After Monday, September 7, 2026, students may not switch clubs.If you need to change your child's club or request a refund, please email Annette.Menendez@hcps.net before September 7, 2026. Changes can only be made if space is available in another club.

  • Can my child participate in a club even if that club is not designated for their grade level? Because clubs are designed for specific age groups, we will only be accommodating those students as noted in each club. We are unable to accommodate younger students into clubs designated for older students, or older students into clubs designated for younger students. Thank you for your understanding.
