It takes a village to raise a child. The majority of our operating budget comes from our generous Business Partners and money raised through the Fun Run.

 

Here is how your sponsorship dollars will make a difference in our classrooms:

  • Teacher classroom funding up to $300 per teacher, used for storage bins, books, ink cartridges etc. ($15,000)

  • Mini-grants for classroom supplies, teaching programs, special classroom projects and professional development ($27,000)

  • 2 RIF (“Reading is Fundamental”) events where students choose a book to keep ($6,000)

  • Meet the Teacher, Tears and Cheers Breakfast, and 2 Conference Night dinners for teachers ($3,500)
  • Classroom periodicals ($7,500)
  • All teacher and staff appreciation events throughout the year ($10,000)
  • Student take-home folders ($2,000)
  • BrainPop Computer Program used in classrooms ($3,500)
  • Music & Arts Programs ($1,500), Guidance Department & Bobcat Buddies expenses ($1,300), and Media Center expenses ($2,200)
  • Insurance, bank fees, office expenses, website costs ($2,400)
  • Family Outreach Programs ($5,000)
  • Technology for students and classrooms ($1,000)
  • After School Enrichment ($5,000)

There are four business partnership levels available through the PTA. Participating at one of our four sponsorship levels comes with the benefit of earning exposure to the Mitchell community of families and parents. Your tax-deductible donation will be funding PTA events throughout the year, such as the Fun Run, Winter Wonderland Movie Night and MORE! 

 

In-Kind donations will achieve sponsorship benefits if the value of the donation meets the levels listed below. Business partnership packages can also be customized according to your business’ objectives.

 

We gladly accept donations year-round, but please note the deadlines to appear on the carline banners (all Partnership levels) and the parent/teacher communication folders (Bobcat level).

 

The Henry Mitchell Elementary PTA, is a 501(c)(3) organization (Reg. No. 23-7102401). Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. No portion of your gift was retained by a professional solicitor.
