Learn About PTA Volunteer Opportunities
We are an all-volunteer organization and it is amazing what we have been able to do throughout the years. Our PTA runs a variety of programs – advocacy programs, student enrichment, family events, teacher appreciation and community outreach, just to name a few. We welcome EVERYONE to volunteer. We will work with your schedule! Every little thing you can do helps us in big ways! Please read through our program descriptions and consider volunteering!
Student & Teacher Advocacy Committee (STAC)
The Mitchell PTA created the Student & Teacher Advocacy Committee in response to the lack of state funding for our public schools. Our goal has been to gain a strong understanding of the issues and share that information with you, our Mitchell families. By joining this committee, you make no commitments other than to share information affecting our public school funding and policies and brainstorm ways we can better support our schools. Join the fight for our children and teachers!
