Alisha is the grateful mom of twin girls, Paige & Savannah (5th grade). She and her husband, Chris, are both Florida natives and University of Florida graduates. After college they lived in Washington D.C. for 4 years before moving to Tampa. Alisha worked in the finance industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She is excited to serve as the President again this year. Alisha enjoys spending her time doing almost anything outdoors (especially fishing, hiking, biking and reading).
VP Ways & Means
Cindy is a mom of two Bobcats (Saya – 1st and Evren – Kindergarten). She graduated from the University of Oregon in her home state. Before making Florida her home, Cindy lived overseas and earned an MBA from the University of Scranton. Before a recent change to stay home with her children, she worked in the senior care industry. This is Cindy’s 2nd year on the Ways & Means team and she is excited to be involved with sponsorships and the Board again. Her interests include travel, fitness and true crime.
VP Volunteers & Membership
Andy and his wife, Kara, are the parents of four past and present Mitchell students: Kayden (14), Ainsley (12), AJ (11), and Avery (10). Andy graduated from North Park University in Chicago, IL with his B.S. in Finance and later earned an Illinois teaching license through Benedictine University with a focus on Business and Computers. Early in his career, Andy worked for a publishing company with responsibilities in finance and purchasing. He later managed a service-based franchise and oversaw all aspects of the business. Since starting a family, Andy has enjoyed his role as a full-time career Dad even while pursuing other interests like volunteer work at church and developing a small household repair business. In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with family, snowboarding and playing guitar.
With three children at Mitchell, Gabrielle (5th grade), Griffin (3rd grade), and Garrison (Kindergarten), being a part of the Mitchell PTA has been a natural fit for Amber. A native of Maine and graduate of the University of Connecticut, she moved to Florida in 2003 for some reprieve from the snow. Amber spent her career in marketing and design before taking on the role of full-time mom. She is now a Girl Scout leader, enjoys spontaneous adventures with her husband and kids, traveling, volunteering, and all things creative and artistic.
Jen is an Ohio native and graduated from Wheeling Jesuit. She worked in Financial Services for years in Ohio and Texas before moving to Florida and landing her best job yet, “Mom”! Ironically, long ago Jen and her husband, Casey, met in Panama City traveling from their respective colleges on spring break. They lived happily ever after and have two active girls, Kayla (7th grade) and Leigha (3rd grade). The family enjoys exploring Florida and doing their best to embrace the wonderful opportunities of being a Floridian. While they love living in Florida, family is important to them and they enjoy hosting gatherings with their relatives from Ohio and West Virginia on adventures near and far, as often as possible. Leigha just completed her first full year at Mitchell last spring and the experience could not have been better! They are looking forward to another fantastic year and Jen is excited to be a member of the PTA and support the Bobcat Community.
