Alisha Stephens

Alisha Stephens

I am the grateful mom of twin girls, Paige & Savannah (3rd grade).  My husband, Chris, and I are both Florida natives and University of Florida graduates.  After college we lived in Washington D.C. for 4 years before moving to Tampa.  I worked in the finance industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom.  I am excited to serve as the President Elect this year.  I enjoy spending my time doing almost anything outdoors (especially fishing, hiking, biking and reading).

VP Ways & Means

I am a mom of three, two Bobcats (Claire – 2nd and Hadley – 1st) and a future Bobcat. I attended the University of Florida for my Bachelors of Accounting and earned my Masters of Accountancy degree from Stetson University.  I am a CPA and currently oversee the accounting department for a Multi-national transportation company based here in Tampa.  I am so thankful to be part of the Mitchell community and look forward to serving as the VP of Ways and Means for the 2019-2020 school year.  In my free time I love to go on adventures with my kids, sew, craft, read and travel.

VP Volunteers & Membership

I am the mother of Caine, a second grader, and Cameron, who is entering kindergarten this year, as well as a bonus mom to twin sophomores at Plant High School. I grew up attending Hillsborough County Schools and earned my degree at Florida Southern College. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I worked in television production at HSN. I also enjoy serving on the board of the Mitchell Elementary Foundation. I believe in Mitchell and Public Education and love giving back to this wonderful community!
Andy Warren

Andy Warren

Andy and his wife, Kara, are the parents of four past and present Mitchell students: Kayden (13), Ainsley (11), AJ (10), and Avery (8).  Andy graduated from North Park University in Chicago, IL with his B.S. in Finance and later earned an Illinois teaching license through Benedictine University with a focus on Business and Computers.  Early in his career, Andy worked for a publishing company with responsibilities in finance and purchasing. He later managed a service-based franchise and oversaw all aspects of the business. Since starting a family, Andy has enjoyed his role as a full-time career Dad even while pursuing other interests like volunteer work at church and developing a small household repair business.  In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with family, snowboarding and playing guitar.

Recording Secretary

My husband Kevin and I have lived in south Tampa since 2009 and have two daughters-Sienna, who will be an incoming first grader and Giuliana, who is 4 years old (she cannot wait to be a Bobcat for the 2019/2020 school year)!  After graduating from Florida State University, I spent over a decade in the Florida political arena as a political consultant/lobbyist and candidate fundraiser and loved every minute of it. After both of my girls were born, I decided to stay home with them and have found that to be equally as busy, yet extremely rewarding. I enjoyed serving on the Planning committee for the 2018 Bobcat Bash and look forward becoming even more involved with this incredible event in the coming years. I will be co-chairing the Men’s Bobcat Breakfast for this school year and cannot wait to honor the special men in our children’s lives with this event. I’m truly thrilled to be part of the Mitchell family and am looking forward to serving our students and teachers as part of the PTA board.

I am honored to serve as the Corresponding Secretary for the Mitchell PTA! I am mom to Sawyer (4th grade), Memphis (2nd grade) and Boden, a future Mitchell Bobcat. My husband, Brandon, and I grew up in Florida and are both proud University of Florida graduates. After receiving my B.A. in Business I spent a few years in Atlanta working and earning an MBA at Georgia State University before moving back to Tampa. I have a background in business and marketing and most recently served as the Director for a local nonprofit organization. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family.
