VP Ways & Means
I’m excited to be the new VP of Means and Ways for the 2017-2018 school year! My daughter, Avery, is in second grade and my son, Miles, is a future Mitchell bobcat. I’m a Tampa native and I graduated from Plant high school and then Florida State University. I was a professional ballet dancer for many years before becoming a mom, and I’m currently the managing editor for our local Hulafrog- a website that features all of the awesome kid-friendly businesses and events around South Tampa. My husband, Ned and I love being a part of the Mitchell community!
VP Volunteers & Membership
I am the grateful mom of twin girls, Paige & Savannah (1st grade). My husband, Chris, and I are both Florida natives and University of Florida graduates. After college we lived in D.C. for 4 years before moving to Tampa. I worked in the finance industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I am excited to be more involved at Mitchell as the VP of Volunteers & Membership. I enjoy spending my time doing almost anything outdoors (especially fishing, hiking, biking and reading).
Graeme is the father of Ava (5th) and Cord (1st). He was raised in Tampa and attended Mitchell for Elementary School. After graduating from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC he spent several years working in Charlotte, NC, and Miami, FL, before he and his wife Staci moved back to Tampa in 2005. Graeme is a Partner in a Commercial Real Estate Investment/Development Group. He is an active member of the community and currently holds leadership rolls on the Executive Committee of Champions for Children’s and the Children’s Cancer Center and is a member of the Executive Board of the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America. He has previously held Executive Committee positions on the Board of the Economic Club of Tampa and Tampa School Development Corporation.
Myra Denman is the proud mom of former Bobcat Jolie (6th grade) and to current Bobcat Reese (4th grade). She is honored to serve on the Executive Board of Directors as Recording Secretary for the second year in a row. Myra is an attorney and after several years practicing with a large law firm, she is thrilled to have opened her own private practice in Tampa. She received her B.A. from Villanova University and her law degree from the University of Miami. In her downtime, she enjoys being with her family and friends, and playing with the Denman family’s beloved American Eskimo dog, Teddy. Myra is looking forward to another wonderful year as a member of the outstanding Mitchell community.
Proud mom of a 4th grader (Riley) and 1st grader (Crawford), I served as Corresponding Secretary over all PTA Communications for the 2016-17 school year. Originally from Montgomery, AL, I am a graduate of Tulane University and have enjoyed calling Tampa home for the last 14 years. In addition to working part-time in technology marketing at Accenture, I enjoy reading, watching college football and traveling. My husband, Dave, and I love being part of the Mitchell family.
