Thank you for your interest in the Mitchell Elementary PTA! We appreciate your support for our school and know your child will, too! Decades of research has shown when parents are involved, students perform better in school. Our PTA implements programs to engage families in that student success as well as helping to provide the school with resources and improvements. PTA initiatives are made possible by funds raised at events like the annual Fun Run, by generous business sponsorships and by our volunteers which are primarily parents, teachers and members of our community. Membership in the PTA is open to all parents, grandparents, teachers, friends, local business and community leaders! All members are appreciated regardless of whether or not you choose to volunteer.

Some of our events and programs include: Teacher Appreciation, Uniform Exchange, RIF Book Distribution, Heritage Night, Family Art Show, Fall Festival, Family Skate Night, Literacy Week, Wellness Programs, Bobcat Buddies, Movie Nights, Fall and Spring book fairs, Community Outreach, New Family events and Mini-Grants for Teachers.
